2024 Traditional Inside Sales Rep of the Year and Sales Leadership Evolver of the Year

Congratulations to our 2024 Traditional Inside Sales Rep of the Year & Sales Leadership Evolver of the Year, Janelle Hannon!

Janelle’s journey with AMP began in January 2011, right out of college, when she joined our field sales team. It wasn’t long before she discovered her true calling in inside sales. This transition would mark the beginning of what would be an exemplary career marked by leadership, innovation, and success.

Janelle’s transition to inside sales was a pivotal moment in her career. In her first year on the team, she sold over $142,000 in print advertising, setting a strong foundation for what was to come. By 2012, with the launch of CloseBy® Text Marketing, Janelle quickly adapted and nearly doubled her personal sales to $250,000.

Janelle’s leadership journey took off in 2013 when she took on the role of leading the inside sales team. Balancing new customer acquisition with top-tier service for existing clients, she grew her personal sales to $275,000, adding 51 new customers to her roster. In 2014, her role expanded as she became a top new business seller company-wide, contributing significantly to the team’s success and later stepping into the role of Assistant District Sales Manager for the Traditional Inside Sales team.

By 2019, Janelle had risen to the position of District Manager of the Inside Sales team. Her leadership was instrumental in driving cross-sales, upsells, and renewals, significantly impacting AMP’s success over the years. As the digital landscape evolved, so did Janelle’s strategies. By 2024, her team’s contribution to OPTIMA sales had exploded to over $475,000, up from $35,670 just two years prior.

Janelle’s personal impact in 2024 has been nothing short of incredible. She has achieved total sales of $224,115, with a significant portion—$111,520—coming from OPTIMA and CloseBy® sales. Her dedication and hard work are further reflected in the impressive 256 accounts she has successfully sold, demonstrating her outstanding contributions and commitment to excellence.

Janelle’s remarkable ability to evolve and lead her team through a dynamic and changing sales environment has not only seen her win the Traditional Inside Sales Rep of the Year but also earn the title of Sales Leadership Evolver of the Year. Her approach to embracing challenges and pushing the boundaries of what is possible stands as a testament to her dedication and hard work.

When asked about her success, Janelle shared, “80/40/20 is about raising the bar, stepping outside your comfort zone, and embracing challenges that drive growth. My advice to anyone looking to step into a leadership role is to commit to your team’s growth and to continually adapt and evolve.”
