Congratulations to Kat Whitsitt on her promotion to NorthWest Expansion Markets Training Manager!
In this new role, Kat will oversee the launch and management of 2-3 MIT markets per quarter, helping to drive AMP’s expansion and company goal of 40 new markets. Kat’s strong work ethic and commitment make her the ideal person for this new role where she will manage the launch of 8-12 geographic regions in 2025, where AMP will go from start-up to market dominance in the following 12-24 months. This will be a huge role and responsibility for Kat, one she is ready and excited for!
Kat’s journey with AMP began in 2014, marked by significant achievements including the Presidential Achievement Award and Expansion Rep of the Year. After a break to focus on family, Kat returned in June 2022 with an unwavering determination. Her comeback was remarkable, securing 11 GSV sales in just three days and totaling $23,839 in her first month, and earning swift promotions: Senior Sales Rep within seven weeks, followed by Mentorship Manager in August 2022.
Kat continued to excel, setting a companywide OPTIMA™ field record with $36,574 in September 2022, earning accolades including AMP Digital Rep of the Year and AMP Elite Presidential Achievement. She was promoted to Market Expansion Specialist in 2023, then Regional Field Trainer by October. Her exceptional training results earned her a finalist spot for Trainer of the Year.
In 2024, Kat’s dedication to growth took her across the country, mentoring markets and ensuring AMP’s continued success. Kat has also secured an impressive $275,000 between training revenue and personal sales in 2024. It’s common in the region for someone to ask, “When can I schedule a training day with Kat?” This isn’t just because of her impressive training stats, but also due to her candid approach, where she provides valuable insights on how to tweak sales strategies for even a 1% improvement.
The Whitsitt family provides unwavering support for one another’s pursuits, with Kat’s children following their own passions across the country: Nia, a Child Advocate in Laramie, WY; Addae, a junior at Chapman University, entrepreneur, and surfer in California; and Yazmeen, a freshman studying Sports Management at Maryville University in St. Louis, MO, and a member of the women’s basketball team.
Kat’s husband, Novian, a professor at Luther College and avid cyclist, is a strong supporter of her goals. Kat shared, “I can’t wait for all five of us to be together for Christmas, knowing they are all successful and empowered to pursue their dreams gives me the strength to continue to pursue mine at AMP.”
Congratulations, Kat, on this well-deserved promotion!
